The Care Team was first introduced during our 2-year anniversary weekend, and the positive response showed that this kind of support was something the community valued. As a result, the Care Team is now a permanent part of our school.

What we’re here for

The Care Team is a neutral, confidential support group within the school. You can come to us with:

• Interpersonal conflicts
• Boundary issues
• Social or emotional safety concerns
• Situations that affect your comfort within the community
• Support or mediation when something doesn’t feel right

Whether the issue is between dancers, between a dancer and an instructor, or something more subtle, you can speak with us in a confidential manner without fear of judgement.

How we work

When you approach us, we follow your lead. Our support can include:

• Simply listening
• Offering advice or perspective
• Helping you navigate a difficult situation
• Mediating a conversation
• Passing along information or concerns - only with your explicit permission

We do not handle legal matters or formal disciplinary action, this is reserved for the school leadership.

Confidentiality

Everything you share with the Care Team stays with the Care Team.

We only act or share information with your clear, explicit consent — except in extremely rare cases where someone might be in serious danger.
