Classes
How can I start? 🤔
- Group classes
This is the best way to start learning a dance and it is the preferred way for most people, as it assumes you have no or limited prior dancing experience. We recommend starting with the Curious Westie - Part 1 course, then continue with Curious Westie - Part 2 for a more technical development of your dance. - Fast-Track classes
These classes are aimed at dancers with couple dancing experience (at least 1 year) who can pick up the main concepts of this dance fairly easily. The teaching rhythm is fast-paced and assumes a general understanding of couple dancing dynamics. - Private classes (50 min)
For a more personal approach to learning West Coast Swing, we can help and guide you step-by-step. You will get our full attention, along with tips that will help you improve faster from the get-go. - Assessment and advice (25 min)
When joining west coast swing while already having some dance experience it's hard to know your place. While not a class in the real sense of the word, it is a type of private where the goal is to asses your level and see how fast you pick up the main concepts and basic patterns of WCS.
Have you danced West Coast Swing before? 🤓
We offer multiple levels of group classes in Den Haag, ranging from beginners (we call them Curious Westies) to dancers who have been dancing for a couple of years, are active in international West Coast Swing communities and travel regularly to events (we call them Seasoned Westies)
Depending on your level and dancing experience, one of these classes is right for you!
Check them out with our level diagram on the Level Description page, and join one of our fun and vibrant groups.
If you're not sure or have some questions, send us a message and we can help you out 😉
