We believe that in order to improve, you should dance as often as possible and with a wide range of dancers.
That's why we created this section and added events from three different sources. Depending on your engagement and willingness to travel, you can always find West Coast Swing dance events, near you ;)
Zuid-Holland events
This is the page where we post our events, workshops and socials, organised mostly in Den Haag and Leiden. You can register and start dancing with your westie peers, and practice your new moves or styling that you learned in class, in a safe and welcoming environment.
As much as you love dancing in your local west coast swing scene, there comes a time where you want even more. Either more socials, workshops, teachers and maybe even competitions.
A great way of doing that is to start exploring outside your local dancing scene and attend socials from other regions.
You like it when other dancers come to our socials, right? Why not return the favour sometimes ;)
For this, we created the page for "Events in Netherlands" where we display the calendar of Dutch events in a more accessible calendar component.
Our Dutch West Coast Swing dancing scene is still growing, but it's no where near as big as neighbouring Germany, France or even UK. We understand that there comes a point where the need to explore international events becomes imminent for a lot of dancers.
These events is where you will take workshops from Champions and All-Stars that you follow on youtube, see live their dances and shows, and (if you're brave enough) even dance with some of them. It's a truly unique and addictive experience and you should at least try these types of international events once or twice in your WCS journey.
