This course is perfect to get you started in your West Coast Swing journey. You will learn the basic rhythm, connections and 6-count patterns, so you can already hit the dance floor.

In the second part, you’ll start to explore the 8-count patterns of West Coast Swing. From the basic Whip to other variations that are danced all over the world, you’ll learn new concepts like setting and moving the post, and expand on the basics that you learned in the first 6 weeks.

This course runs every 6 weeks and tackles a different topic, in cycles. Classes will focus on new patterns, variations, styling and musicality.This will provide a solid dance vocabulary for leaders and followers so you can dance with any other Westie, local or international.

The theme for the Jan-Feb block is High-Level Patterns.

This course runs every 6 weeks and tackles a different topic in cycles. Classes will focus on developing new skills and applying them in basic or simple patterns.

This group is for more ambitious dancers and regular dance event attendees, to expand their skillset and help them achieve their dancing goals, regardless if they want to compete or just improve as dancers.
